F.A.Q.'S

What is a Notary Public?

The Notary Public has the role of identifying signers of a document and transaction. We ensure that they were identified and executed the document personally. The Notary Public establishes the signers identity and authorization to sign the document by using satisfactory evidence as established by the laws of the State of California.

The primary for utilized to identify signers are driver license, passport, military ID cards, and other forms of photo government ID. Notaries also play the crucial role of administering oaths and affirmations for affidavits, court proceedings, as well as swearing newly appointed attorneys into the bar.  To summarize, notaries verify a signers identity, personally witness the execution of a document, and administer oaths.

What is a Mobile Notary Public? How does that work?

The only difference in a Mobile Notary Public and a Notary Public is they travel to the location of the signer to provide the notarization service.  Mobile Notarization requires the personal presence of both the signer and the Notary Public. We have the flexibility to travel to businesses, homes, hospitals, and other locations during and after business hours.

What is needed in order to complete a notarization?

There are certain guidelines that must be followed in order to complete a notarization.
1) The signer must sign the document in front of the notary public.
2) The signer must have valid, unexpired state issued identification.
3) The signer must bring the entire document, not just the signature page to be notarized.
4) The notary will date the document the same day it is signed.

What forms of identification are acceptable to complete a notarization?

-Valid (Unexpired) State Issued Drivers License or Identification Card
-Valid (Unexpired) US Passport
-Valid (Unexpired) Foreign Passport
-Permanent Resident Card (Green Card)

Can you notarize something for me if I don't have a current state issued id as described above?

If a signer does not have a photo ID, then he/she will need two witnesses present who can swear to his/her identity in order to be certified. The oaths of the affirming witnesses are satisfactory evidence for certification of identity.

How much do Mobile Notaries charge to come out to my location?

The fee that you would pay for notarization depends on the amount of pages of the document, the type of document, the distance the notary would travel, the time of day, extra services provided etc. For an exact quote you can call or text us directly at 678-203-8717 or go to OUR PRICING.

Are you really available for appointments 24/7?

We are open 24/7 BY APPOINTMENT. If you need a notary at a specific or unusual time, you need to request the appointment ahead of time to ensure our ability to accommodate you. 24 hour notice is preferred but not always required depending on availability.
