Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 1, 2026 · Your Atlanta Mobile Notary LLC

1. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling an appointment, using our website, or engaging our notary services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all clients, whether individual members of the public, law firms, title companies, corporate entities, or healthcare facilities.

2. Services Provided

Your Atlanta Mobile Notary LLC provides mobile notary public services including but not limited to:

  • General document notarization
  • Loan signing and real estate closing support
  • Power of Attorney, Will, and Trust signings
  • Hospital and facility bedside signings
  • I-9 employment eligibility verification
  • Divorce document notarization
  • Apostille coordination and document courier services
  • Document witnessing

All services are performed by a commissioned notary public in the State of Georgia and are subject to the laws, rules, and regulations governing notaries public in Georgia.

3. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation

Scheduling: Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of your booking and required appointment details. We recommend scheduling at least 24 hours in advance for standard appointments. Same-day appointments are available and subject to availability.

Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time may result in a cancellation fee equal to the base service fee. This fee compensates the notary for travel time and preparation already completed.

Non-performance fee: If our notary arrives at the agreed location and the signing cannot be completed due to circumstances within the client's control (signer unavailable, documents not ready, signer refuses to sign), the base service fee remains due and payable.

After-hours appointments: Appointments scheduled before 9:00 AM or after 7:00 PM are subject to after-hours fees as disclosed at the time of booking.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless a corporate account with Net-30 invoicing has been established in advance. We accept cash, credit card, debit card, CashApp, Venmo, and business check.

All fees are quoted upfront prior to your appointment based on the information you provide. Fees may be adjusted if the scope of service changes at the time of the appointment (e.g., additional documents, greater travel distance, or extended service time).

Corporate accounts with Net-30 invoicing terms are available to qualifying businesses. Invoices not paid within 30 days are subject to a late payment fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

5. Notary Public Limitations

As a notary public, we are commissioned to perform specific ministerial acts as authorized by Georgia law. We are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or advise you on the legal implications of any document you are signing.

We reserve the right to refuse to notarize any document if, in our professional judgment:

  • The signer does not appear to be signing voluntarily or appears under duress
  • The signer does not appear to be mentally competent to understand the document
  • Acceptable identification cannot be provided as required by Georgia law
  • The document is incomplete, contains blank spaces where information is required, or appears fraudulent
  • The notarization would constitute an illegal act

If we refuse to notarize a document, you will be notified of the reason. No fee will be charged if the refusal occurs prior to the notary traveling to the appointment location.

6. Client Identification Requirements

Georgia law requires that signers present satisfactory evidence of identity prior to notarization. Acceptable forms of identification include a current government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID. It is the client's responsibility to ensure all signers have valid, acceptable identification at the time of the appointment. Failure to provide proper identification will result in the notarization being declined and may result in applicable fees.

7. Shipping and Document Delivery

For loan signing and real estate closing services where document shipping is included, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to drop off documents at FedEx, UPS, or USPS locations before the carrier's stated daily cutoff time. However, we do not guarantee specific delivery dates or times, as these are controlled entirely by the shipping carrier.

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control once documents have been tendered to the carrier. Tracking information will be provided to you upon drop-off.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Your Atlanta Mobile Notary LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or transaction delays.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Your Atlanta Mobile Notary LLC and its officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Cobb County, Georgia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
